This workshop brings together a group of international of researchers working on and with cloud simulation toolkits and platforms. The workshop will involve presentations and discussions on evaluating and using a range of open source cloud simulation platforms including CloudSim, iCanCloud, CactosSim and CL-Simulator. The workshop will include research on the uses of simulators for cloud research and potential areas for future research. A particular focus will be the move from discrete-event simulation towards continuous simulation (if possible at all) and simulation for short-frame decision making.

The workshop is held in conjunction with the EU-funded RECAP and CloudLightning projects.
